A partner is not personally liable for the RLLP's contractual debts and obligations unless most of the other partners have acted differently when making a business decision. A partner may do the following to avoid costly legal disputes: 1) master the partnership laws at play; and 2) thoroughly draft partnership documents with a well-written and legally proper partnership agreement contract.
An involuntary association can hardly ever be the grounds upon which a Partnership could become established per applicable State legal framework. The number of partners a partnership can have may vary, but it can not be less than 2 partners. A partnership agreement is to be the internal governing protocol of the Partnership. A carefully structured partnership would typically have more than 1 partner
